Did i need to stay 5 years in Pattaya to believe that soil BJ is named after a Thai superstar?!?!?!! With all do respect…… Wouldn't it be better to just say what everyone thinks and knows. These bars are NOT for Sale. You are renting it and will never own it.
Still cheaper than the rent here in California. You can just rent it and have a good vacation place without opening a bar. People will come back once the world opens up again. It would be in 2022.

What if you don't want to do a bar what if you want to do a different type of business for example like an avengers building all Marvel's building what about that what if I don't want to do at a bar and I'm going to do something else that will make more of a construction and I'm more of a different type of business what would they think about that I just have questions because I'm trying to construct business I've already tried to do stuff here in America and never been distracting and tear stuff down I'm trying to find a way to get my stuff done with nobody getting involved and tearing it down

I think you succeeded because you worked your way up there in that industry from a entry level job.
Without that kind of history I think it's less risk for people to invest where they grew up, where they have networks and local knowledge to back them up.
But hey, some like living dangerously to feel more alive, each to their own 😁
It will take many years before tourism to Thailand recovers to anything like pre pandemic levels….if it ever does. Chicken and egg situation. No one is going to open or re-open unless there is enough tourist traffic and tourists who do come will not return because so much is closed.

You said that you are not promoting them but that is just what you did regardless of your opinion after you did it. I think we will not see the end of this pandemic for a long time. I choose to stay here rather than in Sweden for other reasons but investment long term can make a profit most of the time as long as you do an educated investment. But as the thai has handled this pandemic so far I would not put that much money into a bar that MAY pay its own rent when its high season. As you know the rent is only a small portion of the monthly expenses. And to make even, even a 1000 baht is a lot of beers if you want frequent customers or high spenders, who I would say don't drink that much but ring the bell constantly.
So much pessimism here… Let’s hope pattaya and Thailand as a whole change for the better. 30 million Chinese tourists is what ruined Thailand. The Thai government want to change that. Also Pattaya will never “die”, I’ve been hearing that since 1997 and yet here we are. Also for people that say Thailand is just for sex tourism, that’s just not true. Japan has a bigger “red lite” district than pattaya and bkk…. Some of you people need to learn to live life and learn to be happy… Pattaya and Thailand will be fine
